Hi! I'm Yuri Reznichenko.
In the last 20 years I edited more than 700 TV commercials, 40+ music videos — including those for well known brands and bands, also a few feature films.
We were in the middle of doing the first cut of the really good feature film when the rockets started falling in the cities of my beloved Ukraine.
Before the war I built my studio in Kyiv, this was the first editing house in my country. Its name is LEZO — razor in Ukrainian. After returning to Kyiv in May the studio transformed into my workshop / gig place / edit room / storage. Here's its website if you'd like to enjoy some stuff I was cutting: https://yuri.re/el
I love synths and electronic music and am waiting for the moment of inspiration to finally get inside my Korg MS-20 FS with wires and a soldering iron. DIY is my big hobby (and I finally learned to solder well enough to not let the magic smoke out. My Korg EMX-1 wasn't so lucky as well as some of my Volcas).
After using the great — and free! — samples from my trusty friend freesound for more than 10 years for sound layouts in offline edits I think I know them by heart. Big hugs and thanks to you, the great community I'm a part of.
I have some recording gear (Focusrite Clarett 4Pre Tb, Shure Beta 58 and a couple of electrets / piezos), if you somehow feel I can help you by recording something (free of charge :), please dm to telegram: @yuri_re
I'm open to getting in touch and please -- if you have the capacity to help Ukraine overcome this rude and unprovoked slaughter, please do. There are official fundraisers available for your help, like UNITED 24. Helping dissect russian desinformation or just spreading the word is very helpful too!
Stand with Ukraine. <3
