On 5th March 2013, in the afternoon I was recording birds and wind chimes by the River Teign, just outside the woods of the Teign Gorge, Drewsteignton, Devon, UK, in the beginning of the open fields that lead to the road at Dogmarsh Bridge. The recording had a number of disturbances that necessitated my cutting bits out, but this brief dreadful intrusion from a low-flying jet aeroplane was the most spectacular.
Recording made with a Sony PCM-M10 on a Hama mini-tripod, using the built-in microphones covered with a Rode Dead Kitten windshield. I have used Audacity to apply a custom EQ profile to correct for the high frequency muffling caused by the windshield.

Thanks, Philip. Sorry it was a nuisance for you, but it's a very good recording for me...
