Walking quietly through well packed snow. The snow was on a plowed, unpaved road in Tabernash, Colorado. I was wearing size 10 Toms canvas shoes. The recording was done on an H6 with the standard XY capsule.

Very nice sound. I frequently - well, we had 3 nearly snowless winters now in Germany - record such sounds as well. Thanks a lot for uploading, seems to sound even better in an attic flat, 93° F outside, high humidity^^.

This is a great sound effect - I have used it for a video of a children's book 'Will there be Polar Bears?' written by Julia Jarman and illustrated by Priscilla Lamont, so will give credit to you at the end of the video if it makes the final edit. Thank you! :)
