Travelling by train from Oksbøl to Varde, two small towns located on the west coast of Denmark. This recording include the sound of people getting on and of the train. Doors being opened and closed, de- and acceleration of the train, the "go-signal" for the train to move on. The steward is making sure people know what station is next, via the speakers. There's some talk from passengers, phonecalls, footsteps and your every day travel-by-train noises. This train is a diesel powered engine Y-train, delivered to the Danish railways (DSB) in the period from 1965 to 1984, and is still running on various locations such as Varde-Oksbøl-Nr. Nebel.
This was recorded with a TSM PR1 portable digital recorder, with external stereo microphones. Edited in Audacity 1.3.5-beta on ubuntu 8.04.2 linux.
