It's almost dark by the beach of Charlottenlund, near Copenhagen in Denmark. The mics was placed about four meters from the water, on the stony beach. Behind me is a promenade, so it's possible to hear a little human interference. Just ten meters away, two seagulls commits to a fight over some food that one of them caught in the water. It was a very lovely night with no wind at all, perfect for a recording of dull waves, with a view clear enough to see Sweden on the other side of the water. Although it's a very nice place, traffic can easily be heard from the road behind, even when the mics are facing the water, and with a wooden 1.5 meter wall behind.
This was recorded with a Sony HI-MD walkman MZ-NH1 minidisc recorder and two Shure WL183

Hi Kyster, Thanks for the sound! I used it in the "Singular Discoveries" podcast season 1 episode 1 "The Titanic Rescue", with attribution linked in the show notes.

I think it was something from the harbor, a couple of kilometers south. I'm not sure though.
