1st lap of F1 Japanese Grand-Prix 2008. Recorded at 11th corner (chicane) of Fuji. Just after the start, Lewis Hamilton overshot at the first corner and got other drivers into panic. David Coulthard was pushed out of the track and gave up the race. Japan's idol Kazuki Nakajima lost his front wing with David's hitting him. Deep disappointment spread over the circuit. After a group of 18 cars passed, Nakajima followed them for replacement of broken part. Audio Technica AT835st, Korg MR-1.

Yeah, Australian GP was held in Adelaide in the late 1980s. You're lucky to live quietly there.

What a sound, I remember! I am in Adelaide, Australia (we used to have the rage here too). Perhaps I will come to Japan next year :)
Great to hear the crowd reactions as they watched the screens.

F1 cars' approaching is always awful like tsunami comes closer.

the first 40th seconds are as interesting and dramatic as the approaching of the 20.000-HorsePower beasts !!
In a way…it places me at a combination of soundscapes. Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?
