Short recording of a Jacob's Ladder constructed by a friend of mine.
This was taken from the audio track of a video shoot. Recorded with the internal microphone of a Sony DCR-TRV8 Handycam.
Still frame from the video:

Will be very useful for bringing the monster to life! Except for the voices in the background toward end of clip, wil make good use of it.

Well, despite the talking, this is still a useful sample! Thanks for uploading it, it's just what my forcefield needs. :3

I wish I had thought at the time that I was recording reusable sound effects, but unfortunately I was more focused on hanging out with my friends and documenting the gadgets on video. That I got anything usable at all on the sound track was more of an accident, so I was happy to upload it here. That said I'd like to go back sometime with better equipment and the intention of getting clean audio and do it properly.

You need to learn this lesson. No talk during recording sessions. I never do, you should too.
