Highlights of a thunderstorm recorded on May 5th 2006 in North Texas. A longer version of this recording was used as background sound for a staged production of Agatha Christie's "10 Little Indians" in Irving, Texas. Residential noises like passing cars and an annoying car alarms were edited out with Sound Forge 7. Recording was to a portable Sony MD recorder from two RE-50s spaced about 10 feet apart in the front of a garage. They were connected to a Mackie 1202 mixer. The rain is splashing off a 90's model Lincoln Towncar parked about 5 feet away.
