Nascar Ambience - a recording of less than a dozen Nascar racecars starting and driving around the track.This was recorded on March 27 1998 in the pit area of Texas Motor Speedway. The event was a Team Texas Driving school - where participants are able to drive real Nascar racecars. The sounds were recorded along with video footage on a Beta SP camcorder using a single Sennheiser short gun directional microphone.It was digitally captured with an M-Audio Delta soundcard from the BetaSP source tapes.
