This recording made on 6 January 2011, after dark. The constant sound of crickets and the background of suburbia. Bats fly through the air, seeking insects on this still summer night. Recorded on Sony PCM-D50, gain normalised in DC Millennium. Beware, high frequency components at zero db.

Noises at night can be very complex. The recording is terrific by capturing a common sound, along with a less common, more difficult sound to pick up! Well done.
