GEt a couple slow passby's too! Maybe some other bike noises like a basic start engine- take off and the reverse of that. Could you sit on the back with your setup?

BTW: The biker is my brother-in-law. He is currently working in Russia. We can repeat the whole session as far as he is back. It would be possible to increase the sound quality. Just the wind noise is one reason for doing this.

There was a very strong wind at that day. This is the reason for the noise. With cardioids it would be impossible to deal with. Because of wind protection the biker took of his socks and i put it over the mics ;) Anyway it was not enough even with omnidirectional capsules.

Great gain control. it's always hard to find appropriate level to record fast passing objects. The sound is also fantastic.
By the way, is it your handling noise just before the motorbike came?

I'm sorry to be a bit negative, Erdie, but could you try again? There is handling noise at 3 seconds in, the position of the bike is not well defined at the start and end of the recording, and it's quite overloaded and clipped at 6.5 seconds. But the sound quality apart from the clipping, is good. Mike.
