The sound of a hair-dryer. The whole process of switch-on, with a click sound. The sound of the rushing air and motor, and the switch-off with another click sound is recorded. This recording was done with a Zoom H4n in stereo in a bathroom.
Postprocessing: The lowest frequency was adjusted to fit a normalized E3 note if you like to use it to create some instruments. Also a gate was used to remove unwanted noises (created by the author by reaching to the device) from the start and end of the sample. A very gentle compressing/limit was done to normalize the loudness of the sound.
