Recorded at the beach. This was the only day of my stay without major wind. Still there are some wind noises that need careful EQing. The mics where placed so that the waves are coming in from the left, rolling to the right. Some occasional seagulls in between.
Recorded using a pair of Røde NT5 in X/Y positioning with somewhat inappropriate Røde Deadcat windshields. Recorded into a M-Audio Microtrack II, normalized with Audacity. No other processing.
This recording is also available in a processed version on my album "H2O", available for free from here: http://em.drni.de/em004

best by far
Wow, surprisingly not many people can seem to catch that 'actual sea-waves' sound but I think this hits it the best I've heard so far - takke
wonderful sound! Thanks a lot!
Grew up a stone's throw from the sea -- now live far inland. Made me happy, and sad, at the same time
