A long recording of various birds and animals in a large nature reserve in Portland, Oregon. I set up my binaural mics on either side of a tree and left the recorder. Unfortunately there is some wind noise from time to time, as well as some airplanes as this area is quite close to the airport. However there are several kinds of birds: redwing blackbird, kingfisher, tree swallow, black headed grosbeak and others, along with flies and other things. Recorded with the Sound Professional binaural mics into a Zoom H4 recorder.

What a great recording. That bug at 9:37 had me swatting at my neck.

Thank you for sharing this. I live near a factory and am trying to write a novel; this peace piped in through noise-cancelling headphones has just lowered my blood pressure considerably.

Nice. I will need to clear some space on my hard disk before I can download. hahaha
It a big one! Yet it's perfect for what I need.
Beautifully recorded. It's also amazing how mans sounds, can find their way into the most serene atmospherics.(i.e airplanes)
Thanks for sharing.
