This is cooking a homemade vegan burger in a frying pan with a lid on. The pops are water droplets falling from the lid and hitting the hot oil in the pan. The background noise is in fact my electric stove regulating the heat. This sounds almost like static at first, but it is simply a strange sound of water dancing on hot oil.
