For whatever reason I get a lot of people mistakenly calling my phone number. Unfortunately I answer most of the time, but sometimes they get the message machine. This one was worth recording. It is a second call from the same person shortly after the first call.Recorded with a Rode NTG-2 microphone pointed at my cheapo Conairphone digital message machine.

  i feel you're pain. i have random phone calls too.
  guy's leaving me messages for hurting my feelings, when they called me 'grap jelly'. my favorite one was one time i answered, and this lady screaming asking me to 'stop lying, and tell her my real name.' she said she was a cop, and knew where i worked, and was calling people to come and get me, and i best cooperate, whole nine yards. i just played along. finally told her she reached a private cell phone number and her detective work may be a little off. haha.
