My first recording of 2011. Waves coming to shore on the coast of Oregon. To the left is a large open beach, to the right a rock cliff, to the front, the Pacific. At about 30 seconds in, there is a large wave that comes very close to my feet and as the wave receded all the popping bubbles sound like static. Recorded with AT4021 microphones into a modified Marantz PMD661.

My kids have been going to sleep to this file for almost 4 years now! They can't get to sleep without it. A very nice recording indeed.
