This is a recording of a metal plate being hit, and played backwards and processed. I've used it for a build in a dark techno song, but it would also make a good effect for horror/suspense films.

  @xynnia, make sure the file plays in something like Media Player. And make sure the file is 1.4MB, in case the download was interrupted. It downloads and works OK for me today.

  I'm trying to use this in a Windows Live Movie Maker project, but it says the file is corrupted or incompatible and can't use it... even though every other sound I've used from this site is fine :S
