This is a recording of a metal plate being hit, and played backwards and processed. I've used it for a build in a dark techno song, but it would also make a good effect for horror/suspense films.

This sound is so awesome! I really want to use it for a school project, but Garage Band on MAc says that it's in a 32-bit format, and that it can't be used...any help?
