Joan got her music technology start as a radio commercial producer, recording engineer and voice over talent for Clear Channel, the leading radio station company in the U.S. Her voice and production work has been heard associated with companies such as Jaguar, Mazda, Wendy's, McDonald's, Verizon and many others.

Over 25 years of vocal performance and an award winning performer, Joan was a main vocalist with “South Town Fever,” a high energy party band, which opened for acts such as “Three Dog Night,” “The Spinners, “The Tamms,” and “The Platters.” She performed with pianist Kenny Drew Jr., vocalist Elana Roggero from Italy and percussionist Sammy Figuorora.
Talent backed by experience as a successful composer and songwriter, Joan fronted an original band as songwriter, not only as lead vocalist. They played festivals, clubs and private events. SESAC accepted her to join their ranks as a songwriter and publisher.

An Audio Engineering Society Member, she is also collaborating to write, produce and perform original music as well as develop playful sonic hardware.
