Processing and audio file in a graphics editor. The original sample was converted to RAW and then loaded into a graphic editor (Paint Shop Pro) where I applied motion blur. The processed file was mixed back with the original file. The file was then imported back to a sound editor played and converted to wave. The blur processed file sounds too harsh, that is why I mixed it 50/50 with the original file.On uploading, I realised the processing added a bit of empty space at the end of the sample. This will have to be cut out for the sample to loop properly. This sample is intended to show the feasibility of using a graphics editor to process sound. I hope to produce a and post better samples, as I get better at using this method. For a discussion, see this forum thread:http://www.freesound.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5192

Most processing of sound files in graphics editors tends to sound like noise added to the sample. Very often, too much noise.
But I am sure that with the right settings, more intersting results can be obtained.

That works very well. Great way of adding noise to a sample, without it sounding too noisy :)
