This sample was made in Ableton 7, using Raspier V1.0 a bassguitar VST plugin, further processed through a bassguitar amp simulator (from the Revalver MkIII VST plugin).Raspier is a free VST plugin. You can get t from:http://www.freewebtown.com/sgc/vst.htmWhen I first downloaded Raspier from a free VST internet site, it was incorrectly described as a guitar VST. I tried it out but could never get a convincing acoustic or electric guitar sound out of it. SO I lost interest and there it lingered for many months on my VST directory.More recently I found it again on the internet, but on reading the text on the webpage, it was described as a bassguitar. I remembered I accidentally had got some nice bass sounds out of it when I first tried it so I gave it another go.The results are in this sample pack, and I think they are quite good. For best results you want to put it through a Bassguitar Amp + cabinet simulator. Try the free Boogex from Voxengo which is mostly a guitar amp, but contains a few bass cabinets as well:http://www.voxengo.com/product/boogex/
