Proof of concept that a musical loop with lots of instruments can still be processed into something very different and usable in a different musical context.
Used luckylittleraven's loop:

Applied a "fake sequenced filter" - I really just manually chopped up the loop in Ableton Live and split the slices through 3 channels. MAin channel with an autofilter (bandpass filter with LFO controlled frequency)+ 2 secondary slices where I sent only a few slices. The secondary channels are panned left and right and have only a static 3 band EQ with bass and trebble cut out and different settings for centre frequency.
I grouped these channels and on top I applied an EQ to cut out the bassdrum ~50-60Hz and a flanger.
Separate channel with a basic drum pattern.
Aux channels with ping-pong delay and reverb for a bit of space.
