Some more harsh processed beeps from the monotron including termination noise.
The headphones output from the monotron was fed into the mic input on my laptop soundcard. The sound was frequency split with the lower frequencies triggering a Tracker (free VST effect from mda @ smartelectronix, tuned as a suboscillator).
The higher frequencies were fed to Saro (a free VST amp sim by antti @ smartelectronix). For these sounds it is likely I have also used a bit crusher and rate reducer before the saro effect
This sequence of sounds is interesting because from the 3rd sound onwards there was not enough bass in the original monotron sound to trigger the sub-oscillator, so the sounds change radically. I think this clip produced some interesting and very useable timbres.
