Single processed distorted monotron sound. Part of a larger recording, but the only sound on that particular take worth uploading.
The headphones output from the monotron was fed into the mic input on my
laptop soundcard. The sound was frequency split with the lower frequencies
triggering a Tracker (free VST effect from mda @ smartelectronix, tuned as
a suboscillator).
I think for this one also the higher frequencies were fed to Saro (a free VST amp sim by antti @ smartelectronix).
During this sound I swept down the frequency of one of the monotron oscillators. I have posted this sound raw, without applying fades, cuts or envelopes. The sound can easily be edited to create a power-down effect
