    Art of Sound | My Site

    I used a few sounds by yewbic and digifishmusic to make the main background loop on my my website along with some other sound effects I had in my library. There's some great stuff on this site and the concept is very admirable. I'll make sure to upload some of my music for everyone's use to reciprocate.

    Great website. Love the intro.

    It could use a few more interactive pages.
    Maybe try videos as well?

    I hear ya. First up is some rollover animations on the buttons.

    I'm planning on making a cooler interactive loop player at some point. Still trying to figure out how I want it to look....

    let me give an example how others do and thats recommanded;

    Not sure what you're talking about klankbeeld....

    If you click on the credits link at the bottom of my page, the first section of links takes you directly to the samples that I used for the main loop (this is the only music on my page that uses samples from Freesound.org). I don't know how this is any different than the link you put in there.....if anything, my page is more direct as it is a "clickable" link.

    I loved the design of that site and everything worked perfectly, I tested every area, page & especially am impressed over that hidden menu top left for background sound controls, though one thing seemed to be missing--you referred to links below that weren't there.
    The photography really blew me away, and I'm a photographer by profession, so if you did those, you have serious talent, maybe even better than mine! Yikes! wink
    Did you do all the graphics work yourself as well as the html design??? I was a professional web designer but never did the graphics, I hired those out & only did the photo editing work myself. I'm amazed at the level of excellence in your design, as it is. A few rollover menu add on's would help, on the songs page there was no way to choose other songs--if any exist?
    BTW, I've heard of FL (fruit loops) all over--does it work on windows PCs or just linux? If so, where can I get it? Thanks smile

    I just had a look, there is a credits link ( including photography ), I had to scroll to see it.

    Edit
    PS Fruity Loops is available for Windows as well.

    Thank you Gina. The link to the "Links Section" is at the very bottom of the pages below the AOS logo. I did everything on the site including the graphics, flash, html, etc. I just added a glowing rollover effect to the main menu items...still have to work on the sub-menu buttons. For the songs page, you can only go through the other songs by clicking the forward arrow. I need to do some more work with this....I am a total amateur at XML though and all the MP3's are loaded through an external XML file. It's on my to-do-list for sure. I'm not really happy with the current song player.

    As far as FL Studio (Fruityloops), I have Windows 7. It's a pretty fun program....fairly inexpensive as far as music software goes. There's a free demo version if you want to try it out.
