eg: the unit
I been looking for a few days now
@ seeyouinsleep
Its more like a high end typewriter, something like the CIA mite use. [not that i have ever heard a CIA typewriter]
@ Timbre
Thanks but that one is not quite the sound i was after, more digital.
The sound is hard to explain
If you have ever played COD4 single player, they use the sound when they type text across the screen in game.

No, they sound like manual typewriters, this is more electronic.
I am pretty sure i searched the entire site.
I actually recorded one.
If you wont it i can upload somewhere?
Maybe something like a telex machine? (I found this one on soundsxtras.com, I do not know their licensing)
Hello the realtoecutter,
(i think, i know, which sound you are looking for...) ->
do you mean a sound like this: http://www.seele07.de/musik/synth_typewriter_mono.mp3 ?
Please listen to the whole example - it's recorded from an old Amiga Game and at the end of the file, you can hear the single synthetic Typewriter Sound - and in the whole sound file an example of how to use that sound .
EDIT: i created such a sound for you - here it is: http://www.seele07.de/musik/synth_typewriter_single.wav
Soundfull Greetings,
.Ingo.
