Hello everyone,
i can't find this sound: https://www.dropbox.com/s/xnemkajarzsr1il/sound_sample-001.wav?dl=0 It seems like it is a synthetical sound because of the looking of the audio-curve: https://www.dropbox.com/s/xnemkajarzsr1il/sound_sample-001.wav?dl=0
I wouldn't be much wondering if this sound is quite often to find on freesound but i don't have any clue what for words i need to find them. I'm also very interested how i could reverse engineer such sounds on my own, i think it's done with a synthesizer?
Thank you very much!
Best regards,
Eric
Disregarding the voice, it sounds to me like some sort of sine/square wave created with a synthesizer and then either tweaked with pitch shifting or heavy vibrato and a hill-shaped envelope.
I've had a quick go at recreating it, which you can find here:

As for searching for other sounds similar to this, I would suggest searching for "Sine", "Square", "Synth" and maybe "Vibrato" as well. It might be a bit tricky to find something exact. Or if you have access to a synthesizer, I would fiddle around with sine and square waves.
Hope that helps!
Edit: Synthesized --> Synthesizer
My attempt at a sound-alike ... http://freesound.org/people/Timbre/sounds/395453/
For similar sounds try keyword "FM" (Frequency Modulated) ... http://freesound.org/search/?q=FM
Thank you very much, both sounds great to me It seems like i have to expose more with synthesizer, there are a lot of possibilities of sound design with it.
