Hello, i'm searching for an intro effect to start my video with. To not scare the people watching. Its starts loud and I would like to add a sort of sliding in effect.
Anyone know where I could find those?
Try searching terms like "intro" and "sliding" for starters. Can you give us a better idea of what you're looking for though? ANY sound can be made to fade in so that the volume gradually becomes louder. Do you want the pitch to slide as well? Do you want the source to be instrumental, natural, or digital?
Some generic "blank" sounds:
-a single steady tone (like one long, continuous beep)
-white noise or static
-intermittent ticking or tapping (which may or may not increase or decrease in tempo/speed as part of the "slide")
If you've a specific sound in mind with a bit more character, try to describe it to us. Words like rumble, sizzle, twang, hum, whooshing, muffled, drip, chirping, roar, rush, bright, distant, swish, rustle, hollow, crackle, step, zipping, burst, etc, etc, etc.
It may also be helpful to talk about the scene itself. What is that first loud sound? What does it lead to? What else is going on around it?
The more you can say about what you're trying to find, the better your chances of someone here being able to recommend (or create/record) something appropriate
