I'm making an open-source 3D firstperson rpg with a female protagonist, and could use some help from you fine folks at freesound.
My character can pick locks, and when she doesn't have a lockpick in her inventory, i'd like her to say "I need a lockpick" or something similar.
I have tried myself, but my voice sound terrible
The game is build using open-source tools (Blender, Gimp and Python), and all code will be released under GPLv3 as soon as the game is ready (the game will also be released in binary form to ease access and install).
Models and textures are all CC-BY-SA, and are available at my github-site.
Development is done on a Linux platform, but if there should be a demand for it, a Windows and Mac version is possible.
The game will use low-poly models, and will not attempt to mirror the graphics of newer AAA-games, instead it will fous on story and gameplay.
A small example of the level of detail can be seen here:

EDIT: I could also use "Damn... it broke", "Argh", "Hu" and other fighting sounds.
