Hi,
I am about to embark on an adventure with an online radio station, called "The Crowzone". I have the licenses, I have a bunch of tracks and some ideas.
What I'm looking for is some help creating the station "identity". would you be interested in recording some station idents for me (I don't want to use my voice as it all gets a bit too samey).
This is all funded from my own pocket, so I'm afraid it's not going to be a paid gig, but you could always use the stream as a place to point prospects to.
I'm sure there will be lots of changes as we go along, but initially if you're interested could you reply with mp3s of:
"This is the Crowzone"
"You're tuned to the CrowZone"
"Great music in the Crowzone"
Anything else you fancy, dry or with FX...
Thanks for listening.
Steve

Is there a deadline you need the lines by?
Thanks for the reply.
I plan to "launch" on May 1, but it's not the end of the world if the Idents aren't done by then...I don't think there will be rioting in the streets :¬)
You (or anyone else) would of course be creditted on my website (with links if appropriate)
I had a go at it, with a few extra lines I came up with after reading your website. Let me know what you think.

If you want those samples I could send them by email. You can pm me your address
It's quicker to just upload them to Mediafire or some such and put the link in a PM.
Here´s a dropbox link, you can download it straight from there± https://www.dropbox.com/s/q1v6w05dpgoelkh/CrowZone.rar
Another one for you - when it's moderated.

Obviously sounds better downloaded. I was comparing two mics, so I was using your request as target practice. Hopefully you can get something useful out of it...
Edit: Now modded [thanks for the fast mod]
Freesounders - thank you for the responses so far. It's already making a great difference to my test stream and I'll certainly be using (and creditting) the voices who have contributed so far.
The more the merrier, I'm not looking for a "Corporate House-style" so the more voices I can use the better.
Other scripts could include:
"Here's something from the A list" (B List) (C List)
"Every Tuesday evening at 7pm UK, it's Folk hour in The Crowzone"
"Join Steve How on Thursday at 8pm UK for "How Bizarre""
"Would you like the Crowzone to broadcast from your event? Contact us at www.crowzone.co.uk"
Looking forward to hearing from you....
Once moderated, you can find my new ones here: http://freesound.org/people/RoivasUGO/packs/14426/
Guys - thank you so much for these idents. My station is now live and featuring idents from Speedenza (and when I can sort our RAR unpacking I'll add in RoivasUGOs file too).
I'm also using a local voice (Phil) who is a resident in the carehome in our village. He has a wonderful rich tone and west country accent which I have yet to capture properly, but that will come.
I'm after a few more if you're in the mood....
"This....is Crowzone Radio"
"Find us on Twitter, @Crowzone"
"Crowzone radio is available on SONOS via the TuneIn App"
"Listen to CrowZone Radio on the move, with the free TuneIn app on your smartphone or tablet"
"CrowZone Radio can be found on Pure Connect internet radios"
Upload your clips to Freesound and feel free to experiment with your best radio voices, or sound FX etc. It's a playground and don't forget to listen on www.crowzone.co.uk to hear the finished thing.
Thanks again Freesounders.
You can download winrar to unpack the rar files (they're more common than .zip files in the Netherlands, didn't know that was a local thing) or I could reupload them in a zip file. I'll do the other ones too, in an hour or two probably.
