Hey everyone
This is for anyone who is in the mood to take out their tascams and sennheisers (or whatever you got) and do some voice over work.
I am looking for anyone to record the following phrase:
"You are listening to the Myrtle Turtles. They are spitting those hot fire beats."
This is for a dj duo. We will take any recording. There is no requirements or specifications. Just record the highest possible quality voice over of that phrase and upload it!
Any recordings you upload will be properly credited to you in the upcoming release of our mixtape.
Thank you so much to anyone willing to help. I think this is an excellent community and I figured I put out a request to anyone kind enough to donate their talent, time, and effort.
I look forward to seeing what you guys can come up with.
Louis
I may be able to help but I'm not sure if my mic is high enough quality so if you want check out my vocals to see if my mic works, my mic is built in laptop mic and I record using Audacity
Glad that I can help and it was nothing for the fast reply I just love making vocals for other peoples projects and then I can see what they do with them. You should be able to get more replies since this is a active community the sample forum is one of the most watched by the community.
Best Regards and Happy Freesounding,

Also one more question(most likely, lol) do you want it said with a accent, I am American and I don't have any accent so I was just wondering, if when you said there is no restrictions are you saying everything goes just wondering so I wont have to ask you if a certain thing is allowed.
Hey good question, whatever sounds natural to you preferably. If you want to do a few takes in which youre trying out other zany voices thatll be cool. But priority will be on the more natural take.
These sound files will probably go through oodles of processing just for the fun of it so I'd like working from raw recordings
I won't change my voice in anyway but if there is anything in the background I remove it because since I will be uploading to the public/Freesound community I want everyone to have the best recording I don't want to give more work to others and some people may not have any sound editing programs. You will be getting the raw vocal of my vocal but other stuff that get caught on my mic I will have to get rid of it.
Is there any deadline?
Oh ok because I still got one other project to do, that is a little bit more important(Since the person I am making it for doesn't have enough time and I'm not sure he if he has a good enough mic so I to create a vocal that credits myself in his radio station, lol)
Sorry but first come first serve but at least there is no deadline but I will try to get it done as soon as I can.
