I'm a videographer and I'm editing an orientation video for a local business. I'm looking for a melody to underlay the sounds of the video. I'd like it to be something medium to fast-paced and something that flows nicely. Anyone have any suggestions ?
Hello chrisp08.
I recommend you bounce a small selection of library music off the client and get their "feel" for what they like. If they haven't yet allocated budget for music, they'll possibly stump up a little cash when they take ownership of the music choice for their baby.
Shows that:
A.) you've thought about budget constraints
B.) given them the opportunity to feel ownership of the music decision
C.) prepared to negotiate for studio time.
Years ago, you couldn't get me to use royalty free library music for neither love nor money. These days, though, I'm amazed to find that they've really upped their game.
