I write and record original songs (see johnsongs.com) and I'm currently working on a piece that will be a pastiche of the styles on 1967 Beatles/Traffic records. You know, very dampened drums, Mellotron, odd chords, etc! I haven't finished the lyrics but 'Harlequin' is the working title for now. It would be good at one point to fade in and out a short snippet of a little girl saying/reading what sounds like a few lines from a fairy tale close to the mic. I only need say, 30 seconds or so. Sorry, I'd like a UK voice as a US accent just won't sound right in this! Anyone up for the challenge? Thanks.
Can do. Got a 9yr old girl who is English.
Just reading a fairy tale? Want it montone or with expression?
Many thanks. A snippet of both would be nice, if not the latter will be fine.
Thanks for your offer of help.
i'll be down in your neck of the woods in a couple of weeks - four days in Falmouth. Looking forward to it.
Uploaded. Let me know if you want a longer cut or different content.
