So I have a friend who's a band director and he's doing a "robot" show this fall for their competitive marching band season and he's wanting some quotes to be stated on field during moments in the show. I've already done some recording, EQing, etc...but can't seem to get it just right. And honestly it may be my software (Magix Music Maker isn't exactly the best ever for this stuff LMAO). I wanted to see if any of you guys could help out. He has stated he wants it to sound like a "Robot Overlord"..."but not mean, so like a robot Jesus" lol (I was thinking not either mean or nice, since robots would be more neutral in personality). I can't get it to sound robotic enough. I'm placing the quotes below. Anyone want to have a go at it? THANKS IN ADVANCE!!

OOOOOOH! I like that a lot! Though it would have to be recognizable and clear from a distance, so maybe use that same effect, but just raise it a few pitches and clear it up just a tad? BY JOVE I THINK WE'RE ON TO SOMETHING!

Although personally, I can't actually contribute to this for the time being, I appreciate your thorough and detailed description of exactly what you are requesting, and for what and whom it is intended for. If only all "sample requests" were this clear.

that's kinda cool, though that's a little zerg overmind scary OMG WE'RE GONNA DIE sounding lol. He just send me more descriptive stuff and said the "little white druids in the newer star wars"...if that makes sense.

with no doubt, that's the coolest marching band director ever.

Currently thinking about taking round 2. Probably DCI? No idea...

Omar, I marched DCI for 4 years. Do it. It's the best experience you'll ever have. I marched Cavaliers from 2001-2004 on mellophone. And parabolix, yeah, I guess that link is awaiting moderation still. I can hardly stand the antici.......pation.

Hopefully this doesn't violate any terms of conditions or anything, but the people on this thread wanted to see the results of the marching band show. The only video they have, unfortunately is on facebook. Winfield Warrior Pride Marching Band...you could probably search it if you have a facebook account. I tried to embed it but it didn't work.
