Hi all,
You know how if you're watching a horror movie, they might zoom in on a scene of maggots or crawling ants, and they play a sound that sounds *almost* like throwing random numbers at a sound chip on an old computer? It's sort of a fast random noise.
Does anyone have the ability to make a looping version of one of those? I am writing a video game, and it has maggots in it, and I want the classical maggot sound.
Would something like this work for you?

there are ants on Freesound ... http://www.freesound.org/search/?q=ants
are worms close enough to maggots ? ... http://www.freesound.org/people/Benboncan/sounds/82390/
maybe a combination of those various sounds:

I re-uploaded this for you. Hope it works:

Hi all,
Thanks for the replies. These mostly seem like components of the sound I'm looking for-- the one I'm thinking of usually has a sort of screechy background... (googles)... something like this, but more intense:

Usually it has warbles and things in it, very fingernails on the blackboard kind of stuff.
comme ça?
