Hello Sound Artists,
I'm in an urgent need of sound effect below:
- a wrong or fail sound (buzzer or trombone(preferred))
Similar to the one being used on game shows when the contestant's answer is wrong. But I will use it to emphasize the wrong way of doing things.
The sound will be used in a for-profit project (and will be published in a company intranet website for download). So I intend to pay you for the trouble if your work is approved. It's just that we're in a hurry and I need the sound within 24 hours from now and I we don't have time to create our own. Please only offer sound effects that you created yourself and that there are no legal issues involved in your work.
Best Regards,
Efil Leiv
I hope someone here can help you with that. You can try my samples but I think there is better ones on here some where that fall under the description of sound you want.

Thanks a lot, Erokia.
This is our first project so if it went successful we can expect for more to come. But since we're really in a hurry and we don't want to be bugged down later on with legal issues, I think our last resort is to create low grade sound at the moment, as tentative measures, using some kind of virtual instruments like this:

Efil,
Here, I assume, is what you are looking for:

These are four of my own versions of this original freesound file (original is attribution licence):

I have an effects version and a dry version. Both have some additional compression. Two of these are just three toots instead of four. Somewhere I think I have a sped up version too, but not sure where...if I have time I'll look tomorrow.
There are also these remix/re-processed versions of the original sound, in no particular order:

http://www.freesound.org/people/Timbre/sounds/73588/

Some of these are noticeably better than the original, though a few lose some high end in the process. Not aware of any other 'wah wah sax/trombone' recording on freesound except a noisy one of a person imitating the sound.
Have a listen to the different versions and see which you like best...
Cheers,
