I've been looking all over the internet for this specific sound effect, and it's a relatively simple sort of thing but I can't seem to find it anywhere! I also don't really know what to call it - just two quick consecutive beats, DOOM DOOM, on a timpani or a bass drum. Or anything that can produce a deep sound. They're used a lot in film trailers. What I'm putting together is a fake film trailer and I want this sound effect to accompany the DRAMATIC TEXT SLIDES that appear between clips of the "film". Does anyone know of a sound clip, or could make one, that sounds like what I'm after? I'll be eternally grateful

These are all single-beat versions of what I was hoping for, but I'd settle for something like that too. Just a deep, reverberating beat on a timpani I guess... but believe it or not, I can't seem to find one anywhere.

also try searching for the tag "dun" ... http://www.freesound.org/search/?q=dun
Nah I've listened to all those sounds, they're not what I'm after. Too synthesised and too high a pitch - I'm after a deep sound, a drum basically. I don't want a "dun dun duuuuun" sound effect, that's all I seem to turn up when I search for "dun" or "doom doom". What I want is completely different... I need to find a good example so people know what the hell I'm on about...
Edited my first post with some examples. I hope they make it clearer.
