I'm doing my A-level Media work at the moment and making a movie trailer, but I need some music that would go in the background at the beginning. It's a horror trailer but I don't want horror music, if you watch a horror trailer it's all nice to begin with and then the horror music kicks in. Basically my trailer starts of with my character driving in her car and pulling up to her house. So I need something that suits it. I've tried looking but I don't really know what to look for. Normally trailers use a soundtrack but ours has to be royalty/copyright free.
Hopefully someone has an idea, thanks
I saw that one ussed my musicbox for a traylor. hope it is something??

look away from the normal tracks
I have choir also http://www.freesound.org/people/klankbeeld/sounds/106104/ as the opposit of horror.

Good way of searching. enter a keyword and make the minimum time greater than your intro.
This place is rather for sounds but I have some horror like musical themes in this pack:

And when you can not find anything: http://www.freesound.org/people/klankbeeld/packs/7458/
But there are enough sounds and samples at freesound to compose your own trailor.
Here's a link to some of the music I've put together. If you'd like to use any of it, let me know. We can work something out.

Thank you very much everyone!
When I get into college on monday I will try some sounds out you've suggested and I'll let you know how it turns out
Much appreciated, Soph
