    Boundary Mic Ideas?

I have a pair of boundary mics I had to get for work. Now they're just hanging around and I'm looking for any ideas where they might be useful or interesting.

You mean you wish to send them to someone as a gift?
    I'm open. wink

Could be usefur for unusual researching purposes.

Well, I was thinking more of some interesting uses for them that aren't usually achieved with typical mics. Unfortunately I can't actually give them up because I will probably use them often for work. But I like to experiment with things, but I just can't think of anything.

    Some description on typical uses:

My guess is, that they pick up quiet sounds, without overloading loudness of the sonic surrounding? If so, they are good in picking up details?

You can tape your mics vertically to buildings/trees etc. I've used both PZM's and miniature omni's that way and liked the results. You will need to augment the bass using an EQ if the surface isn't big enough.

Thanks Yuval, I will try some buildings and other stuff around me. Good idea.
