If you Google "hqsfx@live.ca" you'll find that there's more than the HQSFX YouTube channel : there are duplicates of "their" YouTube content on other YouTube-type sites. 8¬O

If you find your Freesound samples being used without attribution on one of these YouTube-Like channels, make a complaint directly to the channel, don't post any info here. If you find the work of other Freesound creators PM them with the link , don't post the details here, (like what I did on the first page of this this thread), as that is tipping-off these prolific offenders.

I filed a copyright infringement complaint at Youtube against user "HQSFX" regarding

[edit:] Apparently I was mistaken. Timbre pointed out that this sound was indeed from Freesound, but not mine. I didn't pursue with the claim. The Youtube sound is taken offline.

I think that zippyshare reproduction of HQSFX's voice is exempt from copyright under "fair use" ... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fair_use , as it is evidentiary.

Oh I've just noticed they've deleted the other YouTube video where they can be heard,

Just to let you know that on a check today I still found plenty of copyrighted material at SoundEffectsFactory Youtube Channel.

The owners of the sounds are being contacted now.

I'd recommend you tell them to file complaints rather than contact these plagiarists/thieves/frauds.

Or maybe he's busy creating more deceptive accounts in other media since he's been foiled in sound.

I know you keep an eye on this forum thread, so Im gonna spell it for you.

So far we have been rather nice and helpful: we have posted a number of copyright infractions here so that ou could see them. You have corrected all or most of those, but we all knew there were many more. You have promised to go and fix the others as well. And that you did not.
I have searched your channel yesterday and spent perhaps an hour. I found another 8 copyright infringements.

By now you had enough time to correct this and you haven't. Maybe you thought nobody would find them. Or maybe you thought we would give up. Or maybe you were just too lazy.

I am not posting those infringements here. We Freesounders are tired of doing you research for you. - It just adds insult to injury after you stole the sounds in the first place.
We will continue to report these infringements to Youtobe, until you fix them. ALL OF THEM! Or until Youtube closes your channel. Whichever happens first.

Yesterday i posted the youtube copyright infringement form for one of my sounds he is using,three hours later it was removed with a message saying "this file does not exist".
Today i look again and i see it is back....unchanged.
.....any ideas?

Like others i am familiar with a lot of the sounds here on freesound and after checking more of his videos i'd say that's most of them. All lifted directly and uncredited.

It sucks using time on this but if ever there was a good example of mass copyright infringement of the attribution license on freesound then this has to be it,and with all the attention that's on this thread this case demands an outcome......whatever it is.

Forum admins: richardgarry's post seems like intensional distraction/trolling or accidental incorrect placement. In both cases, deleting the off-topic posts seems appropriate.
