Hi There. Just wanted to know some insights here guys. Here is my thing here, I'm planning to build a site for free mp3 wav etc sound effects and I was thinking if it would be ok to place my files on a shared hosting? I was told by my friends that its a bit risky to place files on a shared hosting, also they told me if I'm really planning to continue this project I should place my files on a server on my own. Any suggestions here guys?

Do you value your materials more than the cash to store them yourself?
