Hi there,

Using Firefox, Chrome and Internet Explorer, I can't seem to find any way to download Packs from freesound. There is no text link, no graphical button link, nothing.

I see from older threads that there have various problems with Packs before. Are the links all broken/offline at the moment? Is anyone else able to download Packs? If so, where should the Download link actually be on the page?

i am also having problems finding out how to download samples, i was just downloading stuiff yesterday, but i cant seem to find it now

Thirded. Mac OS 10.7.4 w/ Safari, FF13, Chrome

Just to be clear, I can download individual samples fine. It's Packs that I can't find any way to download.

There's clearly an issue with the server.

Given that sounds function like so:

http://www.freesound.org/people/USERNAME/sounds/NUMBER/downloaders/ - list of downloaders
http://www.freesound.org/people/USERNAME/sounds/NUMBER/download/ - downloads sound

I theorized the same "downloaders"/"download" logic worked with packs. I was right:

http://www.freesound.org/people/USERNAME/packs/NUMBER/downloaders/ - list of downloaders
http://www.freesound.org/people/USERNAME/packs/NUMBER/download/ - Internal Server Error

Now, "Internal Server Error" means something went wrong inside their code. This isn't a "page not found" error -- which you get if you try something randomly.

What I find particularly annoying is that the pack pages allow you to sample sounds but don't let you directly download -- you need to click through a totally separate page first.

i cant download pack´s either

What's the status on this bug? I've got a Chrome window loaded with tabs of packs I'd like to download.

Same with Firefox. This one drove me nuts yesterday. I thought I was getting crazy !

Hi all. We are still trying to improve pack downloads. We will now make an upgrade that hopefully should make this feature more reliable and also easier to handle on the server.
Unfortunately this means that packs will be unavailable during a few hours. I'll post here again once this process is finished.
